An antique French optician's eye test chart (échelle d'acuité visuelle), printed by Luer, 104 Boulevard St Germain, Paris. Rows of black letters decrease in size down the sheet, with acuity values printed alongside (V = 1,0 down to 0,1). Printed on paper backed with fabric/paper, mounted top and bottom on wooden hanging rails with a cord for hanging. Comes with original wooden hanging apparatus. Great for a vintage touch in a modern space or as a unique typographic wall display.
