This antique French wicker potato basket was traditionally used for storing root vegetables in a cool, dry place. Handwoven from natural willow, it features a rounded dome top, integrated handle, and an open lower section for ventilation. The dark, aged patina and irregular weaving reflect its handmade origin and years of use in a rural kitchen or cellar. Today, it makes a striking decorative object with rustic character, ideal for farmhouse, wabi-sabi, or country interiors.
