French Marseille Soap Cubes
Vintage cubes of authentic savon de Marseille from the Huilerie Nouvelle (Maillon), Marseille. Stamped on its faces in the traditional manner: "Huilerie Nouvelle Marseille," "Extra Pur 72% d'huile," "Fabriqué à Marseille 600 grs," and the Maillon maker's cartouche. Old unused stock from a Marseille soap works, the surface dried, mellowed and darkened at the edges with age. Sold as a collectible / decorative object — a sculptural piece for a bathroom, laundry or shelf. SOLD AS SET.
