Flor de Lis Faience Plate — Terre de Fer, Choisy-le-Roi
An antique French faience plate by Choisy-le-Roi, marked "Terre de Fer" with the HB & Cie cartouche on the reverse. Hand-decorated with concentric red, cobalt-blue and black banded rings and a ring of green stylised fleur-de-lis. Ivory earthenware base with an overall fine crazing and age related staining. A decorative wall or display plate with strong graphic colour. Plate comes with bronze holder with griffon style "hand clamps".
